1. Who we are
Ntrino Mentor (“Ntrino Mentor,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Ntrino LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. What Ntrino Mentor is
Ntrino Mentor is an AI study mentor that combines explanations, worked examples, guided questions, practice, and remembered progress. Its learning estimates and study summaries are educational aids, not validated measures of attainment. It does not replace a teacher or provide professional, medical, legal, or mental-health advice.
3. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to create an account and use Ntrino Mentor. Your account is for you alone; don't share it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your date of birth. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its information.
4. Your account
Keep your password confidential and your contact details current. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Free trial, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly, per account, at the price shown at sign-up. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial: you add a payment method when the trial begins and aren't charged until it ends. After that, your plan renews monthly until you cancel. Refund policy: you can cancel anytime from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged at all. We don't give refunds or credits for partial months or unused time, except where the law requires it. If you believe you were charged by mistake, email support@ntrino.ai within 30 days of the charge and we'll review it and refund any charge made in error. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Ntrino Mentor to break the law, to harm others, to attempt to extract complete graded answers in order to misrepresent them as your own where prohibited, or to misuse, probe, or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. AI limitations
Ntrino Mentor's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify important information. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on AI output.
8. Safety monitoring
Automated screening may flag conversations for staff review and show crisis resources. It can miss or misclassify concerns, and does not guarantee detection, a response, or emergency assistance. Flagged conversations are excluded from study summaries. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The service, its content, and its branding belong to us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the content you submit, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the service; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using Ntrino Mentor at any time, and we may suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms.
